The Listening materials are related to three sportsmen, whose life experiences are shared in the listening materials. The structure of the materials is easy to follow. However, it is challenging for students to take notes and sum up the personalities from their life experiences. So some additional practice should be added. Meanwhile, teamwork, the learning model, can be taken advantage of to make the task easier to handle.

本节课亮点和不足:
教学法的创新:本节课利用3P (preparation---practice---product)的教学方法结合教学内容进行创新,即:5P (preparation---prediction---practice---participation---presentation),每个过程都有对应的任务,铺垫---预测---强化---参与---展示,环环相扣,衔接紧密;
教学手段的创新:本节课利用text to speech软件,将听力的内容进行筛选,把关键性的信息进行重点强化,有针对性的练习,提升了学生捕捉信息的能力和听力的相关技能。学生们知道学什么,怎么学,怎么用;
材料的大胆整合:本节课调整了材料的顺序,对部分内容进行整合,使其更加连贯,流畅;
内容与思想的结合:凸显英语学科素养,除语言知识和学习能力之外,更加强化了思维品质和文化品格。在presentation环节,学生们选取本学校的篮球团队作为the greatest personality, 而并不是体育明星,深刻地反映出学生关注了人本品质,达到了教育教学的目的。
不足之处:由于课堂时间有限,小组展示仅进行了一个组,只能转化成课前预测的作业部分呈现。
