2通过由短语到句子再到段落的练习,让学生掌握运用语法知识实现分析文本中长难句的理解的目的。

T: Present the writing paper on the screen, and ask students why their writing mark is not that high?
S: Look at the paper and point the reason.
Purpose: To elicit the three magics to make a simple sentence much better.
Part 1. Magic 1-Prepostional phrases
Activity 1. What do they have in common?
T: Show the following titles in the text books and ask students what do they have in common?
Animals in Danger Adventure in Literature and Cinema
A Life in Sport The Life of Mark Twain
The Story of J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter
S: Read the above titles and pay attention to the relationship between the nouns and the underlined part behind them.
Purpose: To present the phrases and ask students to think about the rules before imitation.
Activity 2. Find out the girl.
T: Ask student to imitate the structure and try to add prepositional phrases behind the girl and find the exact girl.
S: Imitate the strcture and make some practice.
Purpose: To enable the students to be familiar with the structure.
Activity 3.Translation.
T: Ask students to translate the following sentences into Chinese.
1.这是一部关于战争与和平的电影。______________________________________
2.我遇到一个蓝眼睛的小女孩。__________________________________________
3.那棵树底下的那个男子是谁?_________________________________________
