Step 1. Greeting

Step 2. Leading-in

To show a letter to students and ask them to find the attributive clauses in the letter.

To review the concept and functions of the attributive clause and relative pronouns.

To show some sentences to students to review the usage of the relative pronouns.(Ask the students work in groups to have a discussion about the answers they fill in the chart.)

Step 3.Exercise.

To show the problem solving skills about the attributive clause.

Ask the students to complete the sentences with correct relative pronouns. And then the students check their answers in pairs.

To summarize the concept of the attributive clause and functions of the relative pronouns.

Ask the students to correct the mistake in each sentence. And then the students check their answers in pairs and give their reason..

5.直击高考:Ask the students to do the exercises which are adapted from the latest College Entrance Examination and then discuss in groups.

Step 4. Guessing game.

Show some sentences to describe something or someone and ask the students to guess what it is or who he/she is.

Step 5.Summary

定义:修饰名词或代词的句子叫定语从句。定语从句一般紧跟在所修饰的名词或代词之后。

关系词分为

指人:who,whom

关系代词: 指物:which
