教学目标：

their writing ability can be further developed.

3. Students can be more aware of the impact of persistence on their daily life, and form a right attitude towards the life of Grade Three.

Practice the usages of these language points of this module.

Use the useful expressions to do the exercise of College Entrance Examination.

难点：Use the useful expressions to write a short passage to introduce a

famous sport personality.

教学过程：

Step I: lead-in

1. Before the class, ask students to enjoy some pictures of the great sports personality.

2. At the beginning of this class, ask a question:

Before our class, we have enjoyed a beautiful song and some great pictures. Do you know the people that were showed in theses pictures?

（学生活动：欣赏图片、音乐，听教师提出的问题并回答。）

设计意图：首先课前通过欣赏动感音乐和著名运动员的图片，调动起学生的兴趣。接着，上课一开始就通过头脑风暴、小组竞争抢答的形式（抢答和本课题--The Great Sports Personality的相关词汇），调动起学生学习的热情和积极性。最后将学生们说出的和本单元本话题相关的词汇分类展示--阅读词汇（识记词汇）、写作词汇（重点词汇），使学生对本话题词汇的侧重点有了初步的认识。让学生通过图片的欣赏和视频的观看及小组抢答题目的完成，进而以直接呈现的方式切入本节课。此环节中希望让学生在欢笑中进入学习中，激发学生的兴趣。
