本节课是高三专题复习课。阅读表达这一题型学生在高一高二时就已经接触了。但是由于本校的学生英语基础比较薄弱,他们对阅读表达题的一些解题技巧掌握的并不是很好。因此本节课主要是从阅读表达题的其中一种题型—细节理解题入手,主要从答题技巧上进行学习。希望通过本节课的学习,绝大对数学生在解决阅读表达题中的细节理解题时,能够得心应手,增强在高考中答题的自信。
二、教学目标
1.学会阅读表达中细节理解题的提问方式。
2.在解答问题的过程中,学会总结和灵活运用阅读表达中细节理解题的答题方法,注意答题规范,同时培养学生的思维品质和学习能力。
3.增强学生解答阅读表达题的自信。
三、教学重难点

2.学习难点:灵活运用阅读表达中细节理解题的答题方法。
四、教学过程
step1. Lead-in
Purpose: To make students understand the test requests and the types of questions in the college entrance examination.
Show students the test explanation of task-based reading.
Ask students to know the types of questions and numbers in recent college entrance examination.
show students the learning aims of this class.
Step2. Self-directed Learning
Purpose: To make students learn and summarize by themselves
Activity1: This part is easy for students. By observing the questions listed in the learning plan, ask students to summarize the features of question formulation.
Suggested answers: the questions are usually led by how, what, why, where……
Activity2: Typical examples
Ask students to do the four exercises on their own in 10 minutes.
Step3. Discussion and presentation
Purpose: To cultivate students’ sense of cooperation and learning ability.
Discussion1: Before giving the answers, the students will discuss their answers with group partners and choose the most suitable answers. During this process, students will benefit a lot. They not only learn to think over by themselves but also improve their teamwork.
Discussion2: By the group work, ask students to summarize problem-solving procedures and how to make answers more standard . Based on the first discussion, group members summarize the right steps and show their answers. When one group gives the answers, other groups can evaluate the answer and express their own opinions. Through this activity, students can be better involved in the class. They will fully understand task-based reading after this class, which can improve their confidence when solving this kind of problems. They will gain more knowledge by discussing with their partners. Meanwhile, their quality of thinking and learning ability will be improved.
