Part one: Analysis of the teaching material:

The topic of this module is cloning This period is the first lesson of this module. I will put emphasis on the analysis of the Reading & Vocabulary part . This part mainly tell us the general idea of the horrible story Frankenstein and the second part is the extract from Frankenstein. After the passage there are some exercises to improve the students’ reading ability.

Part two: Analysis of the students:

My students are very interested in this lesson, because it is not only one of the most famous horror films in the film industry but it is about the topic of cloning. Thus , it is easy to arouse the students’ interest .

Part three: Three dimensional teaching aims:

Teaching objects :

Master the new words and expressions.

2) Understand the reading passage.

Ability objects:

Improve the students’ reading ability.

Present their opinions about cloning.

Emotion and moral objects:

After studying this lesson, the students can know more about cloning and have right attitudes towards cloning.

How to enable the students to know more knowledge about cloning.

How to enable the students to present their views and reasons.
