1,to begin with a video which is about Syria at war now
2,ask students to describe their feelings after watching it by using some adjective words
Step 2 Pre –listening (4 mins)
1, To check the students’ independent preview results: answer 4 questions about the “Blitz”.
2, Let students to do a vocabulary exercise (to finish an exercise on their book by using irregular changes in verbs) and guess the main idea of the passage.
Step 3 While-Listening (10 mins)
1,Ask the students to read the questions quickly
2,Give the listening skills to students(pay attention to the key words)
3,leave the opportunity to answer the questions to the groups who don’t get one
Step 4 Post-Listening (13mins)
1,Lead the students to read a short passage from the test
2 lead them to fill in the blanks
Step 5 Discussion (10 mins)
Encourage students to recite the passage according clues..
