To encourage students to learn from their classmates’ good personalities and cultivate students’ confidence in speaking and listening.

1) To improve students’ inductive learning ability and logical thinking by brain-storming.
2) To cultivate students’ thinking agility by adding an end to the dialogue.
3) To enhance students’ ability to generate vocabulary after making sentences and acting out small talks.

1) Students are encouraged to have a brief revision of vocabulary in small talks and their knowledge transfer ability can be strengthened by making dialogues .

学情分析: Analysis on Learners: Senior High students are eager to learn something knowledgeable, challenging and interesting. They have their own opinions and attitudes. They are not content with the limited knowledge obtained from the textbooks. Therefore, when it comes to listening and speaking, students are willing to act out something related to the topics in small talks which they are familiar with. So, some topics are presented reviewing some key vocabulary as well. Based on output-driven and input-enabled hypothesis, students have already read some related materials, which makes it easier for them to start listening and acting out. Besides, their inductive learning ability and cognitive capability have developed a lot. I have to help students mind map their knowledge and develop their ability of listening and speaking. In order not to make students feel much difficult, I made a careful preparation for the students, such as making a piece of micro class, topics in listening which can help students keep up their passion, develop the feeling of success and build up good values.
To help students mind map easier, I make use of “ focusky” instead of “powerpoint”. Moreover, tips and homework are of great importance for an effective process of learning. The students are assigned to have layered performance, that is, they can choose either a piece of fundermental homework or an advanced one.
教学重点:
To retrieve vocabulary by brain-storming and completing the dialogue, such as insecure, judge ,beauty, worth, funny, well-dressed, elegant, handsome,informal,impolite,creative,unfriendly,unimportant,stupid,
announced, amazed, afford, quality and so on.
2) To make clear the good topics and topics we have to avoid ,and learn how to make an ending in a polite way in small talks.
教学难点:
To pay attention to context and details in the passage.
To act out the dialogue after listening, using students’ own expressions.

1) To cover some important details while reading in “focusky” to make students realize the importance of the context.
2) To clear up listening difficulties by reviewing the vocabulary.
