本文词汇量适中,生词不多,语法较难,在读写课的设定下,建议以信息搜索、信息提取和语法填空将文章化整为零,进行精度分析,再通过思维导图对文章进行整体结构感知,还有句式润色来学习遣词造句,以此为话题,取其中的观点,开展读写结合、先读后写的读写课。依据标准(课标要求)Ordinary high school curriculum says that we should set the learner-centered class which combine the compulsory books and optional ones, and pay much attention to the influence of language education on students’ attitude, using advanced teaching resources.

普通高中新课标的要求,要以学生为中心、必修与选修相结合、重视外语教育对人的情感、态度和价值观等基本素养的培养的作用、教学资源的扩展促进教学模式的改进。

本材料在外研版选修六战争与和平的基础上进行拓展,结合实事热点选取材料,以学生为中心进行探索发现与学习,形成对于美好生活的价值观。二、学习者特征分析教授对象为陕西省商洛中学高二学生。

在语法上,基本掌握了高中阶段多数语法,但对从句类和非谓语动词的掌握仍然不够,故本课有语法填空题来巩固语法。词汇上,学得多,词汇量处于增加阶段,但用得少,因而,对于词汇的同义转换不灵活,长词、难词、专业术语等仍然不能快速认知,故本课从补全句子题和内容介绍题着重练习转述能力和长词认知能力。

思维上,根据皮亚杰的青少年发展理论可知,学生的抽象思维和逻辑思维已经形成,因而可以进行推理、判断、分类、分析、辩证思维等,在本次教学设计里,会设置观点提取、提纲训练、综合写作等题。

文化品格上,高二的学生涉猎广泛,但是多数缺乏思考,故有本设计中对于观点的提取、分析与概括。

学习能力上,学生自主学习能力和探究合作学习能力有待提高,本课以自主学习、合作学习和探究式学习为主;口语、听力和写作方面较弱,故本课全英教学、读写练习为主,口语为辅。二、教学目标分析(三个维度)1.知识与技能

A. Knowledge

Ss are able to generally recognize the key information about “a better life”, the current event in China

(大概认知关于中国时事热点“美好生活”的重要信息)

Ss are able to exactly summarize and paraphrase important expressions and words about it in the passage as follows, the appearance, concept,needs as well as past and future of it, through mind mapping and expression.

(通过思维导图,准确概括并改述文中有关“美好生活”的重点表达)

Ss are able to memorize and write down the grammar as well as useful words in the material, such as not only... but also..., attributive clauses, and V-ing used as attributes, by grammatical gap filling.

(通过语法填空记忆并输出文中语法现象和重点词汇,如not only ...but also..., 定语从句,非谓语动词做后置定语)

B.Abilities

Ss are able to generally express something about a better life in English, mainly on the appearance, concept,needs as well as past and future of it.

Ss are able to rapidly combine the pieces of sentences into a whole composition about a better life in English, using correct order and judging the right sentence patterns.

(用英语就“美好生活”进行作文拼接,提升逻辑能力和句式运用能力)

2.过程与方法

Ss are able to practice reading comprehension through scanning and skimming, to review the key information through mind mapping, to look over the language points through filling in the blanks, to improve the sentence writing for advanced sentences and to develop logical thinking through sentence combining.

(通过查读和扫读练习阅读理解,通过思维导图复习文本内容,通过语言点填空巩固知识点,通过句式转换学习高级句型,通过作文拼接练习逻辑能力)

3.情感态度与价值观

Ss are able to learn the concept of a better life and concern with the issue of the 19th CPC National Congress by themselves.
