教学内容分析：
本课是选修7Module2中的Listening and vocabulary.在本课中学生将听到一则关于学生报社编辑之间的讨论，要求按他们出场顺序编号并列出每个编辑的计划。本课主要是要通过做笔记的方式练习听大意和细节信息，通过听的活动来提高学生对文章整体的理解能力和听后的概括能力。
学情分析：
该班是成都市籍田中学高二年级5班美术生，属于第四层次。学生绝大多数基础薄弱，词汇量少，听力差。对于本模块校园生活了解一些，但具体到编辑这种工作，只知其一不知其二，不知道各种编辑的分工，所以教学时会给他们听力材料摘要，根据所听内容选最佳答案和填空，最后要有意识地让他们学着归纳总结。
教学目标：
Listen for main idea and specific information.
Learn to summarize a conversation and make a presentation.
Learn to use the newly learned terms to talk about the editors and their plans.

Pre-listening
Activity1:Previewing vocabulary
Ask students to work individually to match the words in black with their correct definition. Tell the students to guess the meaning of words they don’t know
Previewing vocabulary will help students understand the conversations they will hear.
Activity2: Pre-listening
Call the students’ attention to the photos. Ask a few general questions.
Ask a few volunteers to share their answers with the class.
The pre-listening discussion encourage students to relate the topic to the editors, asking students to talk about freely.
While-listening
Activity3: Listening for Main idea
Tell students that they will listen first, just for main idea。
Go over the hints for taking notes with students.
Play the recording. Number the editors in the order that they speak.
