教学流程设计
Step1. Leading-in.
(一)、Show the students some pictures of Chinese orphan—San Mao, and ask them the following questions:
1. Who is the little boy? What can you see from his eyes?
2. What do you know about him?
(二) 、Show the students some pictures of English orphan—Oliver Twist. And tell them he is a strange orphan to us. Then introduce the Topic of the reading and present the teaching aims and tasks of this class: We know a lot about our poor San Mao—the Chinese orphan. Do you want to know the living condition of the English orphan – Oliver Twist? Now let’s go into the world of Oliver Twist.
Step2. Fast-reading.
Read the passage as quickly as you can to get the brief information. Then answer the following questions.
Task1. Tell the main idea of the text. (You can find the answer from the title, the first/last sentence of the text.)
