二、教学对象分析

该教材的阅读材料部分设计了导入、读前，读中和读后练习。旨在通过这些活动 帮助学生掌握有效的阅读策略和技巧，同时提高学生的口语表达能力。贵州省兴义中学高二（9）班为年级理科重点班。英语基础还可以。学生思维活跃，积极思考，善于发问，有独到的见解。根据这些特点，我在课前课中课后都设计了学生活动，有个人活动，小组活动，同伴互助。让学生充分发挥他们的积极性，让学生成为本节课的主导者，而老师只是作为辅助的角色。老师在学生需要的时候提供帮助和答疑解惑。通过这种做法，目的旨在调动学生的思维和积极性，提供平台让学生产生思维碰撞，在生生互动和师生互动中实现教学目标和教学任务，提高课堂的有效性。

三．教学内容分析

本模块以Music Born in America为话题，介绍了美国的本土音乐，其中包括了Hip Hop，Soul music, Gospel music, Jazz, Blues等。与此同时，还介绍了香港本土的音乐以及几位著名的美国音乐人。通过本模块的学习，要求学生能使用恰当的词汇与同学以音乐为主题展开讨论，了解中外音乐的相互影响，发表对音乐的观点和看法。

Teaching aims:

1. Knowledge and skill

1). To help the students learn about some words in this period;

2). To help the students develop reading skills (skimming and scanning);

3). To help the students get some information about America music.

2. Process and method

1). To help the students learn individually;

2). To encourage the students to learn to work in groups.

3. Emotion, attitude and value

1). Through the activities the students will know more about Chinese and western musical instruments. and improve their interest in music.;

2). The students can use the new words and some phrases related to musical instruments to describe their favorite musical instruments.

2). Lead the students to talk in class actively and help them to make sense of the new words connected with musical instruments..
