Step 1 Leading in:

As we know, China is a multi-culture country with 55 minorities. And there is a province where 26 minorities are living there. Do you know which one? Yes, it’s Yunnan. OK, now let’s watch a short video and come into Yunnan. There are four parts, and grasp the key words. (Explaining at the same time)

Answers:harmonious Lijiang, multi-cultural Lijiang, energetic Lijiang and beautiful Lijiang.

Step 2 Reading

Read the passage following the recorder. And then finish activity 1 on page 58, that is, match the photos.

Answers: picture a-1, picture b-5, picture c-3, picture d-6, picture e-2, picture f-4.

The text mainly tells us the beautiful scenery of Lijiang and Naxi culture including Naxi women, Naxi language and Naxi music.
