Teaching procedure：
Step1 Leading-in
Show some pictures, then guide students to guess which continent they belong to.
Step2 Pre-reading
Before reading the passage, review some words that will appear in the passage.
Step3 While-reading
Task1:Fast reading
Ask students to read the text quickly.
Answer the question: Where do you think we can find the article?
And match paragraphs in column A with their main ideas in column B.
Ask students to conclude the method of finding out the main idea.
Task2:Detail reading
In order to get the detailed information of the passage and improve reading abilities. Ask students to read the passage again and analyze every paragraph.
