2.To practice the phrases which can be used in the composition.Step 2: Pre-writing (pair work)Task 1:The teacher will ask students to draw a picture of their favorite app and describe it using the phrases they have learnt.

Task 2:The teacher will let students draw a mind map on whether students should take a mobile phone to school and give reasons. To draw their favorite app on the paper and use the sentences to decribe it.

To draw a mind map and write their own reasons down. Then they will show the reasons in front of the class.To enhance the mastery of phrases that they have learnt.

To cultivate students’ creative thinking.Step 3: While-writing (group work)Task 1: The teacher will show students an example of a comparative composition. Let students read the given passage and find out the structure of a comparative composition.

Task 2: The teacher will let students find out the useful expressions in the given composition.
