Step 1 Greetings as usual(1min)
Greet the whole class as usual.
Step 2 Lead-in (5mins)
Give students several sentences and ask them to find out the sentence constituents of each sentence. Then ask them to tell me the differences of these sentences.
She knows you.→She knows that you are a student.
She likes reading. →She said that she liked reading.
She likes apples.→I know that she likes apples.
Step 3 Presentation (25mins)
1. Definition
