2.教学内容分析

《The Golden Age of Chinese Poetry》是外研版教材选修八第六模块的第一篇阅读，主要介绍了唐朝、唐朝的科技与文化进步、唐诗以及两位著名的诗人。

课文的六个段落主旨清晰，结构明朗，主要锻炼学生的阅读能力，同时培养学生弘扬和传播中华文化的意识。文章的难点是对唐诗的描述，比较抽象，但是学生通过对单词和短语的预习，同时语文课上关于唐诗的学习都对理解本节课的内容的学习奠定了一定的基础，起到了一定辅助作用。
