Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead in
Show a short movie of Beijing to guide the students to find out the main aspects that can be written by themselves.
Step2. Brainstorm
Let the students talk about their ideas of organizing the article freely, and then the others choose a good one. At last, let the students summarize the main rule of describing a place together.
Step3. Teamwork
Write the article by groups, and each group is only responsible for one part. Finally, all these parts make up a composition.
Step4. Combine the sentences
discuss with the partners to combine the sentences;
get the methods of combining the sentences；
get a new article after modifying.
Step5. Writing
show some pictures of our hometown, at the same time let students point out they belong to which aspect.
