Students are able to describe the steps of using mobile payment, the advantages of mobile payment and the personal opinion of it.

Students are able to write an email to foreign friend to introduce mobile payment.

Teaching Procedures

Target. (翻转课堂,自主阅读)

Step 1. Ask Ss to read the passage in the learning paper and answer questions before class..

Question 1:

Match main ideas of each paragraph.

P1 A glimpse into the life of most Chinese.

P2 Developments of online commerce.

P3 China has embraced a life on-line.

Question 2:What are advantages of mobile payment according to the passage?

Engage. (问题导入,激活背景)

Step 1. To engage to students in class and warm up, let them answer the questions: can you say some technologies that change our daily life?

Step 2. Show the pictures of four great new inventions in modern China. They are shared bicycles, high-speed railway, alipay and e-commerce. Being Chinese, we should be proud of them.

Practice. (微课互动,步骤总结)

Step 1. Use the interactive Micro-class to interact with the students. Let them ask the question in the video, how did I pay for the bill without my wallet?

Step 2. Summarize the steps of using mobile payment. Open the Wechat, scan the QR code and enter the password.

Experience.(视频展示,句型操练)

Step 1. Show a video called how crazy is China’s mobile pay to students and let them conclude advantages of mobile pay according to the reading in learning paper and the video.

Step 2. Let students rewrite the sentences using advanced sentences.

Use.(明确标准,写作评价)

Step 1. Peter is your pen friend from England. As he mentioned in his last email, he’s interested in mobile payment in China. Please write a reply to him in which you should introduce how to pay by a mobile phone, advantages of mobile payment and your opinion about mobile payment.

Step 2. Let students evaluate each others’ writing according to the evaluation table.
