II. Reading strategy: skimming and scanning
What’s the general idea of the article?
Wei Hua, who studied in a British high school for one year, introduces a different school life in the UK, comparing it with China and he feels satisfied with his time in the UK and hopes to go there again.
Tips of skimming the text: we look at titles_, the first and last sentences of paragraphs and the first and last paragraphs as well as pictures and charts, to guess what the text is about.
