模块一 Module I Teenage experiences《Grammar and usage(2): Relative pronouns:that, which, who, whom and who》集体备课教案优质课下载
主题语境:人与社会——旅游与文化
Analysis of the teaching material
This period is from Module 1, Unit 1 of Yilin version. It is a grammar lesson about the “relative pronouns: that, which, who, whom, whose”, which accounts for about 5% of the grammatical knowledge in the CEE in recent years. However, the teaching objective of this period, which will not be confined to how to cope with the exam, is aimed at cultivating the students’ key competence. On the one hand, centering on the theme of the teacher’s impression of some aspects of Australia, the structure, the meaning and the usage of the relative pronouns will be summarized. On the other hand, from learning about and appreciating a foreign culture, the students’ cultural awareness is aroused. Since cultural communication is a two-way street, the students are guided to appreciate the rich culture of their hometown and are encouraged to introduce their hometown’s culture using relative pronouns (that, which, who, whom, whose) based on the four passages presented in this period.
Analysis of the targeted students
The students of Class 20, Grade 12 are the best ones of their kind, who are quick in mind, so this part of knowledge is relatively not difficult for them, and most of them can complete the tasks assigned inside and outside class. Additionally, in this period, the teacher will introduce her impression of some aspects of Australia, such as education and art. Significantly, the students from Class 20 are always hungry for knowledge and eager to broaden their horizon, so this topic will easily arouse their curiosity.
