Then the teacher presents a question on PPT: How to protect yourself in the wild when you see these dangerous animals?

Ask some students to give some advice and some pairs to act for students if they see some dangerous animals ( e.g. wolf and bear)

Presentation (呈现新知识)

Work on 2b. Listen to 2b and pay attention to the pronunciation.

Ask some groups to practice reading the passage ( one student reads 1 sentence)

Read Lisa’s weekend and answer the questions. Check Ss’ answers. Help Ss find the correct answers in the article.

Find the important phrases in the passage.

Then use the phrases to retell the story.

Learn some language points in the article. Do some exercise .

<教学设计说明>本篇阅读文章记述了作者一次非同寻常的经历。通过阅读短文使学生学会应该按时间顺序讲述发生过的事情。因此重点应该放在2c上,应给学生较多的时间去复述文章,不但可以积累新的短语也使学生学会写作顺序。由于翻转课堂模式的需要,在本环节我找个5-6 个学生充当小老师来完成以上环节的开展。学会在野外当遇到危险如何自救自己。

完成3a-Self Check.
