Theme of Unit 2 ——Growing pains
Theme of Module 1 ——Teenage experiences
It can analyzed that this period of Task is intended to help the students learn how to write a letter of advice to deal with their growing pains and expand their understanding of teenage experiences through practicing writing and summarizing what make a good writing by themselves.
Meanwhile, the teacher will guide them to learn that whatever growing pains they are meeting with, their active and positive attitudes are of the most significance.

As for Senior 1 students, we may infer that they all have their growing pains and when in trouble, they would like to write a letter asking for help.
