Step 1: Task presentation
T: Hello, my dear friends, I received a letter from Jane yesterday. Now I’ll show it to you.(a short video by a student)
T: From the video, we know Jane needs our advice. Would you like to help her?
T: Good. In the last period, we learned many expressions to give advice. So it’s a good chance for us to use what we’ve learned to help Jane. Today our task is to write a letter of advice.
