三.Teaching procedures
Step 1.Lead-in
Show the students two compositions in the test and several pictures,then ask the students to compare the sentences, thus leading in to “Attributive Clause” in writing;
Step 2.Review
Review the relative pronouns and relative adverbials;
Step 3.Attributive Clause in basic writing
Use Attributive Clause to combine several sentences .
Step 4.Ability Enhancement
Use Attributive Clause to translate long and complicated sentences.
Step 5.Attributive clause used in the writing of College Entrance Examination
Step 6.Rewriting
Ask the students to rewrite their compositions using at least two attributive clauses;
Step 7. Presentation(if time permits)
