Teaching aims:

After this period, students will be able to:

1.learn what question tags are, and in what situations they are used;

3. know how to form question tags.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Lead-in

Have a free talk with Ss to lead the topic of this period.

“It is very hot here, isn’t it?”

Step 2 Review

1. Show Ss some examples and ask them to summarize the grammar points by analyzing the examples.

Step3 Check the homework

Check Ss’ homework on the learning material.

Step4 Consolidation

Ask Ss to finish the exercise on P51 and then check the answers.

用练习让学生巩固所学知识。

Step 5 Competition

Ss are divided into several groups and have a competition. The winner group will have a prize.
