教学思路:授课教师将教材的内容进行了适当的整合与修改。
借用Task的听力内容,胡波同学因体重问题发出一封求助信,作为引子。引导学生通过整合Project内容和补充阅读两篇相关文章的信息,给胡波写一封回信,以培养学生解决实际问题的能力。在整合信息的过程中,引入思维导图作为工具,培养学生提取信息、整合信息的能力。
Teaching design: this lesson borrows the listening part from Task, which is a letter from Hu Bo about his overweight issues, functioning as a hook in this class. The teacher will give students two more relevant articles, RED article and BLUE article, for more information in order to write a reply to solve Hu Bo’ problem. Students will learn about how to use mind map, thus developing their abilities to organize information.
教学目标:通过本课的学习,学生应进一步理解Project文本,理解教师提供的两篇相关文章主要内容;初步学会应用思维导图来整理信息;并运用所得信息来写一封回信,增强解决实际问题的能力。
Teaching aims: by the end of this class, students will be able to understand the Project and two relevant articles; they will be able to use mind map to organize information, and write a reply to solve practical problem.
教学重难点(和对策):补充的两篇课外文章有一定的难度,因此教师会印成红色文章和蓝色文章,同桌两人看不同的文章,看完后互相交流。思维导图的绘制也有一定难度,因此教师会组织4至6名学生为一组,小组交流。
Difficult points (and solutions): the two relevant articles are more difficult than the textbook, so the teacher prints one as RED article, the other BLUE article, and the two desk mates will read each of them respectively. Then they can share the information. The mind map is also challenging to design, so four to six students in a table will discuss as a group, by which hopefully they will learn from each other.
