2) The students are expected to cooperate with others and get a deeper understanding of the topic in this unit.学习者分析在我省全面实施高中新课程以来,教师以新课程改革为契机,认真学习新课程标准,深刻反思传统英语教学中落后的教学思想和教学行为,努力探究符合新课程理念的教学方法。一节成功的高中英语课应对学生的主体地位进行充分的理解,与学生之间围绕主题展开、旨在提高语言综合运用能力的有效而真实的整体语言活动。其不仅关注学生知识的生成、能力的提高和情感的升华,而且尤其对学生学习策略的形成实施有效的关注、指导和优化。这就要求我们一线高中英语教师通过整体教学设计体现新课程理念,实现新课程目标。
本课是牛津高中英语模块二第二单元第一课时的Welcome to the unit板块。她保持了该板块的原有特色,通过照片、图片等引出一个或几个相关的话题,由下面的三个问题引发讨论,既是一种读前热身,也是对本单元话题的一种导入,有利于激活学生已有的相关知识,激发学习兴趣,为接下来的阅读和后面的一系列活动做好铺垫。所选择的图片和照片涉及学生比较感兴趣的话题,下面的三个问题大多是开放性的,容易引发讨论、引起兴趣。学生在这里有机会感受真实、地道、优美的英语,了解到现实生活和社会发展的方方面面。这节课是本单元的第一课时,作为本单元的导入课,本节课作用自然也不言而喻:它能够激活学生与本单元话题相关的已有知识,有效地引起学生对话题的兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性,从而为下一步的学习做热身准备。我也充分使用了各方面的信息,根据学生的兴趣,对教学设计进行了整和与增减,让不同层次的学生在课堂上都能够有所收获。教学/活动过程Step 1 Lead-in
Have a free talk with the students. Students may be given various opportunities to voice their opinions, and meanwhile they can be introduced to the topic.
Their desire to express themselves is aroused.
In this way, the students will be active and talkative.
Step 2 Pre-task
Ⅰ. Create some specific situations to teach some new words.
Ⅱ. Get students to do pair work.
Students think and try to respond to me individually. Any possible answers can be acceptable. Learning is facilitated in a relaxed atmosphere.
Step 3 While-task
Ⅰ. Learn four different routes.
Create some situations to learn different routes specifically.
Ⅱ. Group work.
Work with their partners to create their holiday plan.
Help the students form groups, and then try to discuss with their partners.
Any possible answers can be welcomed.
In cooperative learning and task-fulfilling process, students often stay together for a period of time so they can learn how to work better together. This allows students to learn from each other and also gives them practice in how to get along with people different from themselves.
