Teaching Procedure: (40mins)
Step I. Greeting (1’)
Step II. Lead-in (1’)
1. Watch a video and experience an exciting adventure.
[设计意图]通过观看冒险视频活跃课堂气氛，吸引学生注意力，引出话题。
Step III. Prediction (1’)
2.Based on the title , let the students talk about the adventure.
[设计意图]让学生理解文章标题, 通过谈论冒险活动对 “adventure”有更直观的理解。
Step IV. Fast reading (6’)
4.Let students read the passage and choose the structure.
5.Ask Students to analyse paragraph1, and to find out the general idea from 4 aspects: Who? What? When? Where?
[设计意图]通过快速阅读让学生对文章有大概的理解并且选出文章结构的思维导图，理解作者意图，加强写作逻辑性，为学生后面的写作铺垫；在总起第一段中分析人物，故事，时间，地点关键词理解文章主旨，提高学生快速阅读能力。
