Students will probably have difficulties in pronouncing those place names which they are not familiar with.

Teaching procedures :
Step 1.Lead-in(6minutes)
1.Students watch a video about Africa.
Questions:
①Watching the video,what can you think of?
②In which continent do these animals live?
③What do you know about Africa ?
2.Teach new place names.
T:We ‘d like to travel to Africa ,but now we don’t have time .Today let’s follow Toby’s travel plan to take an adventure in Africa.His adventure includes the following places:(Teacher shows pictures and ask students to read after him/her.)
T:Open your books at Page 22. It’s a letter .Class ,
Step 2. Skimming(2minutes)
Go through the letter quickly and then answer these questions :(individual work)
1. Who wrote the following letter ?
2. What is the letter mainly about?
