二、教材分析:
本单元的话题是Wish you were here! 祝愿你生活在人间天堂!人间天堂是人人向往的地方，本单元根据《课标》的培养学生的文化意识，中心课文通过不同地方的人在旅游地包括非洲的一些特别行为，给我们以旅游文化的冲击；之后的词汇学习即本节课的内容是用一篇短文说明：Colin要旅行了，根据需要，准备了一些特色旅行物品。学生从中学习旅行词汇，运用这些词汇，旨在培养学生的应对旅游的能力，以达到《课标》的培养学生综合语言运用能力的目的。
三、学情分析
该公开课执教的是高一宏志班学生，他们基础较好，有极强的求知欲，想用英语表达自己的思想。但该课时内容偏少，要想实现《课标》的培养学生综合语言运用能力的目的，学生缺少充分的旅游方面的阅读积累。
四、Teaching Aims
1. Students can understand the names of the travel equipment with the help of the pictures
2. Students can use the words about travel to talk about their travel experience
3.Students can use enjoying、understanding、comparing &discovering to enjoy famous places and their introduction
4. Students can learn what a harmonious place really means
5. Students can relate well to the beauty of nature and try to protect the environment and make our hometown /our country/ our earth the heaven on earth
