Step 2. Vocabulary learning
1. Adding Suffixes
(1) Review the jobs mentioned in the video and lead students to think about the suffix: -er.
(2) Give several descriptions and ask students to think about: what is he?
(3) Conclude the rules of word formation: adding suffixes to verbs.
(4) Have students think of more such words by thinking about: what do you like to do?
(5) Give more descriptions and ask students to think about: what is he?
(6) Conclude the rules of word formation by adding suffixes to nouns and adjectives.
(7) Have students think of more such words by thinking about their interest and desirable work place.
2. Male/Female
(1) Give students several pictures to think about their jobs.
(2) Conclude the rules of word formation by adding suffixes or putting two words together.
(3) Help students think of more such words as practice.
(4) Ask students: are men and women equal?
