Students
My Ss are pretty good at English. They master basic skills, such as reading, listening and writing. However, sometimes they find it difficult for them to express themselves in English. They feel extremely unconfident about their oral English.
There are 39 boy students, but only 13 girl students. The disproportional rate of male and female students has an effect on English teaching and learning.
Students have had the basic knowledge about different jobs. Meanwhile, students came across quite a lot suffixes and compound words.
Teaching key and difficult points
1.Enable students to master word formation rules to form words about different jobs.?
2. Enable students to know how to add suffixes to nouns, adjectives and verbs.
Teaching methods
Students are the master of class. According to new lesson standard and the cognitive rules of students, I’ll use the Task-based teaching method, the Communicative teaching method and concept-based teaching method. I think they’re helpful to enlarge Students’ vocabulary and make them be active in class. So I'll use different activities to improving their communicative skills.?That’s “Learning by doing, learning by using”. What’s more, I’ll take good advantage of the multi-media to make the class lively and have a larger capacity of knowledge.

Explain the concept of suffix
It is a letter or a group of letters added at the end of a word to make a new word, such as –er, -ent, -ist, -ian.
