整个从句相当于一个名词。
为什么要有名词性从句？
可以表达更复杂的含义。
从句的特征？
是一个句子，有一个引导词，引导词做从句的一个成分（that 除外）
Step II. Functions
主语从句
e.g. That he will come is certain.
2. 宾语从句
e.g. I know that he will come.
3. 表语从句
e.g. The truth is that I have been there.
4. 同位语从句
The fact that she was late surprised us.
Step III. Relatives
that & what
what在名词性从句中充当成分，而that不充当任何成分，只起连接作用。
who, which, when, where, why, how
根据名词性从句的具体意义进行选择。
e.g. I don’t know ____ broke the glass yesterday.(who)
This is ____ I left my glasses.(where)
if & whether
