Step 1 Lead in

Give Ss some noun clauses based on the topic of the Asian Table Tennis Championships in Wuxi.

We are excited that Asian Table Tennis Championships were held in Wuxi.

Word came that the Chinese team won gold medals in six events.

It is a pity that China has lost out on the women's singles titles for the first time since 1974.

What concerns people is whether the glory of the Chinese team will continue.
