2. be more skillful in reading the expository writing and be able to voice their opinions about advertisements
3. think of advertisements rationally and read critically.
Procedures:
Before reading
Lead-in and Brainstorm
Teacher: When it comes to advertisement, what words may you relate to?
Students may come up with as many words as possible.(vocabulary preparation to help students focus on the topic)
Objectives
Students read objectives.
Strategy acquiring
Students go through Reading Strategy quickly and find out the format of an expository writing. This part help students read the text smoothly

1. Structure building
Students read the first and last paragraph and the subtitles, deciding the structure of the article.(to promote the integrated thoughts in reading process.)
Main ideas and details
Students read the strategy on Page 3 and get to know the format of an expository writing.
Use Para. 3 as an example to help students get the basic information on a topic by following the format.
