Teaching procedures
Step One
Leading in : Nowadays, people all over the world use ads to promote public welfare. Have you ever thought of starting an ad campaign about social concerns? Today , I’ll show you how to develop an ad campaign .Do you know what does the world “campaign” mean. Explain its meaning to the class. Then take the campaign of KFC as an example. In this class I’ll develop an ad campaign for a product. Tell students that it is an app for education . Then show some functions of it.
Step Two
Ask students to read the passage on page 18 quickly and answer the three questions .
What is an ad campaign?
What media can you use in an ad campaign?
What questions should we first consider?
Step Three
Detailed reading
Now I’ll give you five minutes to reading the passage again and do task-based reading. After they have finished , ask some students to write down their answers on the blackboard.
Step Four
Main ideas of each paragraph

Divide the class into four groups. Have each group focus on one paragraph of the first article and report the main idea of the paragraph to the class.
