五、教学过程
Ⅰ.Warming-up
Play a video: What are you doing? Ask the students to sing and act with it.
设计意图：视频内容是现在进行时的歌曲，歌词简单，曲调容易唱，学生在边唱边做动作的过程中既能感知现在进行时的用法，又能活跃课堂气氛。
Ⅱ. Before writing ( challenge1--challenge5)
Challenge1: Guessing game
Show students three pictures. A boy is doing something in the picture. Let the students guess what he is doing. They are supposed to ask me " Is he...?"
设计意图：图片采用希沃白板的蒙层技术，逐渐擦除，学生通过观察图片细节猜出图片上的男孩正在做什么。学生在猜的过程中复习了现在进行时的一般疑问句。
Challenge2: Game- who is the fastest?
Show students some pictures very quickly. When they see the pictures, they should stand up and say the whole sentences as fast as they can.
设计意图: 采用图片快闪的形式，吸引学生的关注力，引导他们使用现在进行时陈述句描述图片上的内容。图片内容包括了A部分的重点短语，同时也兼顾了单复数和某人在某处正在做某事。
After we finish challenge2, there is one more task. Students need to fill in the blanks and say more phrases. The answers may vary.
设计意图：由图片快闪的最后一张swimming in the pool过渡到更多的现在进行时短语，刺激大脑唤醒记忆，而且因为空格的答案并不唯一，可以激发学生的创造运用能力。此外，这个环节还有一个目的就是引导他们观察空格上三类不同颜色动词的变形，归纳动词变ing的三种形式。
Challenge3: Let's match.
Ask two volunteers to come to the front and put the verbs in the right box.
设计意图：本环节采用了希沃白板课堂活动中的超级分类功能，目的就是检测学生对于本单元出现的动词变ing掌握如何。 为了避免只有两名同学在参与，我让其他学生跟着前面的同学跟读动词原形及其ing形式。
Challenge4: Listening
Before listening: Ask the students to have a look at the chart before they listen.
While listening: Listen to the material twice and complete the chart. Then check the answers.
After listening:
Group work: Work in groups of 4 or 6, choose the conversation they like and act it out.
设计意图：听前指导学生观察表格，做出预判；听中要求集中注意力听完两遍并检查；听后有表演，这种形式比单纯的分角色朗读更有画面感，而且学生会在表演的过程中有意识地去注意语音和语调。
Game: The sports meeting.
Ask two students to play the game. T or F
设计意图： 利用希沃白板课堂活动中的判断正误游戏让学生在玩的过程中去发现所给句子的问题，有的是没有be动词，有的是动词没变ing, 还有的是动词变形有错，这些问题都是平时他们在使用现在进行时的时候经常出现的问题。设计这个游戏的另外一个目的是引导学生关注句子中出现的现在进行时的标志，如now/look/listen/right now. 为后面的翻译句子环节做铺垫。
Challenge5: Translate the sentences.
Show students 6 pictures of animals, ask them to choose the animal they like, and translate the sentence behind the picture.
