T: Today, we are going to learn some new words and expressions in unit 2. Before we begin our class, I want to remind you that since our main task today is to learn new words and expressions, so all the exercises in this lesson are related to them. Therefore, please pay close attention to them. Ok, now let’s begin our class. We know that the topic of this unit is sports. But how much do you know about this topic or the Olympics?
S: The Olympic Games are held every four years. Beijing held the 29th Olympic Games in 2008.
T: Anything else?
S: There are a lot of sports in the Olympics, such football, basketball, gymnastics, ping-pong and so on.
