课堂设计指导思想:
本课应用北京申请2022年冬奥会成功的视频进行导入,并用游戏对抗的形式要学生说出一些常见的奥运运动项目,既激活学生的背景知识并让学生对本课的话题产生兴趣。课文相对来讲比较简单明了,通过结构阅读,细节阅读和深层次阅读并辅之以适当的练习,能很好的帮助学生理解课文并能根据适当的提示来进行课文复述,最后根据学生的认知,给他们进行话题讨论,并让学生以小组合作形式进行一个关于为自己家乡申请奥运会的演讲。课后的写作练习能帮助他们巩固课文的内容。
Teaching aims:
Arouse students’ interest in talking about Olympics.
Help students retell what they’ve got in the reading.
Encourage students to give a short speech about the Olympics.
Teaching procedures:
Step I Lead-in
The teacher starts the lesson with a short video about the Olympics as well as some familiar Olympic sports.
T: What will happen in Beijing in 2022 ? Do you have any idea of it?
S1:The Winter Olympic Games will be held in Zhang Jiakou,Beijing in 2022.

Read the speech quickly to figure out how to make a good speech.
T:What is a speech? Can you figure out the outline of a speech?
Ss are free to give their own ideas after browsing the text in a short time. And then T draw a conclusion on the basis of Ss’idea.

Check students understanding of the structure of the passage.
