Step 1 Lead-in
Talk about means of transport nowadays first and show students some pictures .Ask students to design future means of transport.
Tell the students that with the rapid development of science and technology, some of our wildest dreams have come true today, and even more will be realized in the future.
Step 2 Describe the pictures
Ask students to form pairs and look at the four pictures on page 41 carefully and describe each picture to their partners. Ask several students to describe what they have seen in the pictures.
