Step1 Lead-in
Activity 1: Let students enjoy several pictures on page 41 which refer to tomorrow’s world and talk about them.
Try to input more information about the science and technology by finishing some questions
1.The robot is serving dinner for the master.
2.The passengers could go wherever they want .
3.We could live a long life in the future .
4.The humans and aliens could become workmates and work together.
Summary :With the rapid development of science and technology, some of our wildest dreams have come true , others could come true in the future.
Activity 2: Discussion
Ask students to have a discussion about the questions and then introduce the theme of this lesson.
