Step 1. Lead in
Activity: a short movie clip and some science fiction stories
Purpose: To arouse the students’ interest in the science fiction films and stories.

Purpose: To have a brief understanding of the two summaries.
Step 3. Brainstorming
Activity: basic elements of stories
Purpose: To help students recall what they have learned before

Activity: sharing what they wrote before class
Purpose: To help them polish up their writing in the group.
Step 5. Presentation
Activity: act out their stories in the front of the class.
Purpose: To develop the students’ ability to express themselves freely and others’ ability to catch what they are listening to.
Step 6. A short passage about future life
Activity: appreciation
Purpose: To help indicate the theme and attract students to read the science fiction stories.
