Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in
Before the class, show students a short video to amuse them and introduce the topic of this unit. Make a brief self-introduction to help students get familiar with me and know my requirements.
Step 2 A brief scan
Introduce the important words in this unit by asking students some questions. Help students read the words that are difficult to prounce. While introducing the words, help students identify the word transformation and analyse the basic use of these words.
Step 3 A quiz
Students discuss with group members and try to fill in the blanks with correct forms of the words given by the teacher. By doing this, students will know better about how to use the word transformation freely.
