程Step1 Warm-up and revision

1)Daily greetings to the Ss.

2)Revision : Have a dictation

Show pictures of different kinds of noodles

on the big screen.

Step2 Presentation

1、Lead-in:

What's your favorite food/drink/vegetables?

2、Present some new words and expressions to the Ss (show some pictures of food on the big screen)

Let the students read the words

3、Teach 3a(Teacher says)

The girl in the picture is Sally, and the boy is her friend, Tom. They are in a restaurant ordering food. Explain to Ss what “order” means.

Let the students Role-play the conversation in 2d.

Show some new drills on the big screen.

Follow the example in 2d and make up a conversation to order some food.

Read the conversation and answer the following questions

Q1. Are there any tomatoes in the beef soup?

Q2. How many bowls of beef soup do they need?

Q3. What else does Tom like?

4.Grammar Focus

1)Let students read through the sentences.

2)Ask Ss to focus on the countable and uncountable nouns.

Step 3 practise

Work on 3a (完成3a)Check students’ answers.

Have Ss get into pairs and role-play the conversation to familiarize themselves with the ordering process. Ask them to change the words used.

Work on 3b(完成3b.)

Step 4 Summary

Step 5 Homework 1. Write the new words we have learnt in this class
