Step 1 Lead-in
1. What is a handbook? (Presenting two examples of handbooks.)
2. What makes a good handbook? (Discuss in groups.)
Step 2 Reading
Read the essay: Gold days.
Read the essay : My future happiness
Answer four questions concerning the two essays.
Step 3 Discuss ways to keep happy
1. Work in groups to discuss ways to keep happy.
2. Offer some advice on keeping happy.
Step 4 Project time
1. Planning
All class is divided in groups.
2. Preparing
1). Choose a topic for your group’s happiness handbook. (e.g. Golden Days)
2). Check your essays and make a change according to your design.
