教学步骤:

一.观察认识:Observe the following sentences and tell whether they are real or unreal conditionals.(学生朗读)

1. If you study hard, you will make great progress.

2. If I were a bird, I would fly high in the sky.

3. If you come to Yongzhou tomorrow, I will go to meet you at the railway station.

4. I won’t fly to Hongkong tomorrow. If I should fly to Hongkong, I would call on you.

5. — What a pity! You failed the English test.

— I can’t agree more. If I had studied harder, I could have passed the test.

结论:

条件句分为两种, 一种是真实条件句, 一种是非真实条件句, 只有在非真实条件句中才用虚拟语气, 在真实条件句中, 要用陈述语气。

(环节设计目的:本环节是通过学生的自主观察,发现问题并产生疑问,感受真实条件句和非真实条件句的不同。)

二.自主学习(学生先自己做,再讨论)

讨论并判断下列非真实条件句是与现在、过去还是将来事实相反:

1. — Have you visited Brunei?

— No.

— If you came to Brunei, you would have to take off your shoes before going into someone’s house.

2. If I had time tomorrow, I would certainly help you.

3. If you had joined the chat room ten minutes ago, you would have known what we were talking about!

4. If the man had pointed with his first finger when he was in Brunei, everyone would have thought that he was very rude.

5. If I had this chance, I might want to be a business consultant.

6. If I had one million yuan, I would donate it to the Red-cross Center.
