Step1.Lead-in
1.Have students think of a verb to complete the sentences when appreciating pictures.

My son graduated in 2017.
It rained heavily.
The plane is flying higher and higher.
2.Then have students discuss the verbs in the above sentences in groups
and draw conclusions about them.
Step2.Presentation
Point out the usages of the verbs mentioned above.
