Step1 lead-in

Step2 word power(Ⅰ)—vocabulary learning (part B)
Show different means of transport on the screen, then Ss should learn that the flow chart in part B categorizes the different ways people travel.
Step3 Part A—different names of roads
Step4 word power(Ⅱ) —vocabulary learning(partA)
Ask Ss to read partA on page54 and understand different types of roads.
Then in the form of “picture and answer”, Ss are asked to speak out these words.
Step4 play a game—describing and guessing
In this section, Ss are expected to use the words and expressions they have learnt.
