《Project(2): Preventing traffic accidents》公开课教案优质课下载
课堂设计指导思想:
Project(项目学习)的宗旨是Learn by doing“做中学”。通过阅读课文所提供的素材,使学生了解有关交通事故起因以及如何避免交通事故的措施,为设计标语做准备。设计标语由小组合作完成,组内每个成员集思广益将自己认为独特的经验加入到设计标语之中,最后各组由一名成员展示成果。设计标语的过程中不仅让学生加强了对本堂课的理解,还起到了情感升华的作用——不仅自己要认识到交通安全的重要性,而且还要呼吁身边的人爱护自己的生命!
Teaching aims:
After learning this period, the students will be able to:
1. 知识目标: know the major causes of traffic accidents and how to prevent them
2. 能力目标: design a slogan by working cooperatively and creatively
3. 情感目标: raise awareness of the importance of road safety and cherish life
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 lead-in (导入新课,明确目标)
Listen to a news report and get students to fill in the blanks with certain statistics to raise their awareness of road safety.
【设计说明】 此环节的设计目的一方面是让学生做有关数据的听力练习来增强学生对道路安全的意识。其二是通过这些数据对整堂课起到一个很好的导入效果,为完成后续的教学任务作好铺垫。
Step 2 Fast reading (自主学习,质疑提问)
Ask students to answer the following three questions:
From the title, can you guess what will be discussed in the article?
2. What is the purpose of this public notice?
3. Who are responsible for the traffic accidents?
Thus, encourage the students to get a general idea of what the passage is about.

Step 3 Detailed reading (问题探究,拓展提升)
Encourage the students to further read the passage and find out the causes of accidents related to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

Step 4 Post-reading activities (课堂检测,巩固提高)
Activity one: suggestions for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians
Based on what we’ve learned, conclude what drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should do to protect themselves from danger.
Activity two: slogan designing
